Most of the images in my galleries are available as numbered limited edition hand-signed digital prints on archival quality professional photographic paper, suitable for framing, display, or collecting. Edition sizes are limited to 50 or 75. There are some images displayed in my Portfolio galleries that are not available as prints at this time (see Ordering Prints below).
The images that appear on this website are displayed at a reduced resolution, for proprietary reasons. The original digital files are saved at a resolution of approximately 6500 x 4500 pixels, ensuring that the largest print sizes I offer will result in crisp, clear archival prints.
My photographs are available in two printed sizes (with one or two exceptions). You can select one of these at checkout:
13" x 19" (image size approximately 12" x 17")
17" x 22" (image size approx. 15" x 21")
There are two ways to view and select images available for purchase as prints:
You can browse the galleries in my portfolio. Click on any images you are considering to view a large version (click again for an even larger view). Then click on the words BUY PRINT just below the image title at the bottom. If BUY PRINT does not appear below the title there is not a printed version of that image available at this time—If you want to view galleries of only those images with prints available, follow step 2 below.
You can browse galleries of only images that have prints available. On the menu bar it's Buy Prints>Available Prints. If you do this, when you click on a print to view it larger, purchase options will appear.
Both of the above methods will take you to my print store. Procedures from here on out are fairly self-evident. Select the print size desired to place the item in your cart (please contact me to inquire if you would like a print size not listed above. I can usually work with you to accommodate such a request).
Once you have made your selections, view your cart, add any special instructions, enter your information, and select delivery method desired. Continue to payment options, with your Paypal account or a credit card.
All prints are shipped in a sturdy photo shipping tube, carefully rolled within a protective acid-free photographic sleeve. I use tubes of a diameter sufficient to avoid damaging prints by rolling them. I do not offer matting and framing services, other than framed prints purchased at an exhibit or show.*
When you complete the process of purchasing prints and checking out you have the option of economy, expedited, or one-day shipping. While I am happy to accommodate your choice, please be aware that one-day delivery has a greater environmental impact—or footprint—than the other options. If you don't absolutely need the print in one day you can help save energy and protect our planet's limited resources, as well as saving yourself money, by selecting one of the other two options, ideally economy (USPS 1st Class).
I use one of two high quality, brilliant professional printing papers for my prints, 260 GSM (weight) Canon Plus Semi-Gloss Photo Paper, which actually has more of a luster finish, or 310 GSM Ilford Gallerie Gold Fibre Gloss Fine Art Photo Paper, which is slightly heavier and has more of a semi-gloss finish, as well as a slight warm tint that is perfect for some images. I print on the Canon Pro-1000 professional photograph printer.
I work with a calibrated BenQ photographer's monitor and manufacturers' paper profiles to ensure accurate color brilliance and reproduction. By printing my own images I can control for color, tone, and quality to achieve the best possible prints. When needed I have total confidence in sending images to Denver's Reed Art and Imaging for printing.
*Denver-area customers: Selected images in specific sizes are available matted and/or framed. If interested please inquire.
